Squirrel Cottage is a cosy cottage in the centre of a small terrace of three. Downstairs comprises of a comfortable sitting/dining room, a well equipped kitchen and a small comfortable reading room which looks out onto the back garden.

The bookshelves are crammed with a wide variety of books to suit most tastes.

Upstairs the cottage has two good sized bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

The cottage is south facing and therefore affords a sunny disposition which adds that extra warm feel.

         

The sitting/dining room is a cosy, comfortably furnished room with a multi fuel wood-burning stove for which a basket of logs is provided. Extra logs and coal can be purchased locally.

There is a flat screen colour TV/DVD with Freeview and a CD/cassette radio with a range of CD's and cassettes for your use.

A variety of magazines are also available. The sideboard cupboard contains various  games including scrabble, monopoly, backgammon, chess and cards plus children's games. The cottage has full internet access.

   
     
 
The dining area can comfortably seat 4 people and provides a relaxing space in which you can enjoy your meals.
         

There is also a small room downstairs with comfortable seating from which birds can be viewed feeding in the back garden.

This room also contains a library of books for children as well as adults and a variety of maps and walking books.

The understairs cupboard houses the iron, ironingboard, hoover etc should you miss those regular chores while you are away!!






 
     
   
The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster and a large variety of crockery. 

The kitchen looks out on to a beautifully paved terraced garden where the greater spotted woodpecker and various tits, finches and other birds regularly feed from the 2 well stocked bird tables.

         

Cushions for the garden furniture are stored in the under stairs cupboard.

There is also a pull out washing line in the back garden with pegs stored under the kitchen sink.
